calvin coolidge1 Calvin CoolidgeThe simple, welcoming Calvin Coolidge room is a classic, the kind of handsome place in which Coolidge, a Vermonter born in 1872, grew up. A mural of Warren in the 1920s decorates the walls, and a “Tumbling Blocks” quilt, replica of one Coolidge made as a boy, covers the king size, four poster bed. Coolidge, his wife and their pet raccoon are pictured in the mural, standing on the porch of this very room. A hidden door leads to the bathroom, which has a large marble steam shower, a deep jetted tub and walls stenciled with presidential bunting and silver stars. The wide, columned porch is perfect for parade-watching, reading, or President-impersonating.$475 Sunday—Thursday (blackout dates apply),
$575 Friday and Saturday.
