Colonial pays homage to the earliest days of Warren, when a simple 18th Century farmhouse—which later became The Pitcher Inn—was the first dwelling in the village. In the elegant, composed style of the day, twin beds with crisp white coverlets stand side by side (or a single king bed, if you prefer), a fire burns merrily in the hearth, and lace curtains pull back to reveal Main Street and the General Store. Glowing wide-plank floors complement the pretty papered walls. Colonial is well-stocked with life’s requisites: comfort, loveliness and literature.
