mallard1 MallardMallard is an emperor’s duck blind, a magical summoning of a hushed Vermont marsh just minutes before sunrise in November. The curved, painted ceiling seems a dawning blue sky, a wooden Canada goose, attached to the weathervane on the Inn’s roof, turns in the wind’s direction. Antique decoys and guns, a king-size, hand carved bed, camouflage pillows and a view of the garden make Mallard a duck hunter’s – or nature lover’s – paradise.
