Wine Dinner featuring the wines of Ada Nada Estate

Since 1919 when Carlo Nada first acquired the property that now comprises the Ada Nada Estate, the Nada family has produced some of Piedmont’s most beautifully balanced Barbaresco and Dolcetto wines.  The wines avoid the modern pitfalls evidenced by so many wines- they are lovely and balanced; pretty rather than merely powerful. 

We hope you will be able to join us at The Pitcher Inn, Friday February 3rd at 7:00 PM to welcome Gian Carlo Nada as we present an evening of wines from the Piedmont featuring wines from the Ada Nada Estate paired with a great menu from Chef Sue. 

• First course: Arneis with Parsnip potato gnocchi with king oyster mushrooms, leeks and truffled pecorino
• Second course: Dolcetto with Sautéed sweetbreads with roasted squash, apples, arugula, pancetta and a dolcetto reduction
• Third course: '07 Barbaresco with Braised short rib with roasted garlic potato purée, haricots verts and hazelnut crumbs
• Fourth course: '06 Barbaresco with Colston Bassett Stilton with pears and walnuts
• Fifth course: Moscato d'Asti and Creme Fraiche Panna Cotta with Clementine Marmalade
