Chester A. Arthur Room
The Chester Alan Arthur Room celebrates America’s 21st president, a Vermonter. This accessible, king-bedded room on the Inn’s second floor is a mix of Victorian and neoclassical – the look Chester chose when he redecorated the White House. Rose velvet drapes frame the porch and the large balcony overlooking Main Street, Warren — an especially popular choice for Warren’s famous annual Independence Day parade.
The accessible bathroom offers a jetted-tub and steam shower, perfect for unwinding after a day of outdoor adventure in the Mad River Valley. A wood burning stove completes the cozy picture.
The Chester A. Arthur room is especially comfortable for guests with physical limitations, or with sight or hearing impairments. It offers extra-wide doorways, a roll-in shower with grab bars, a toilet with grab bars, and a hearing and sight-impaired-friendly smoke detector. The room is across the hall from the elevator.
Please note that our Check-in time is from 3 to 6 p.m. Check-out time is any time before 11 a.m. on the expected day of departure.
