The Pitcher Inn is a Vermont luxury inn offering two spacious, family-friendly two-bedroom suites and nine extraordinary guest rooms. Our casual two-bedroom suites are set in the “barn,” and nine intimate guest rooms are found in the main house. Each guest room is distinctly individual and well-appointed with eclectic décor. Our luxury accommodations include the traditional, the fanciful, and the unexpected. All are serene and intimate. Set down your bags. Your room is ready, your fire is lit, your table is waiting. Welcome to our magical escape, five minutes from Sugarbush skiing or boarding, and 15 minutes from Mad River Glen. Adventures for all seasons abound here in the Mad River Valley of Vermont.

About Children…
We love kids. And we’re mostly an adult-oriented property. We welcome well-behaved and supervised children under 14 in our two family-friendly, casual suites (Hayloft and Stable) located in the barn adjacent to the inn, as well as in Edgewater House. And, of course, they are welcome in the dining room for breakfast and dinner during their stay, but the nine rooms in the inn are reserved for adults only. We thank you for honoring this policy.
About Pets…
Like children, we love well-behaved dogs, but only in Stable and Hayloft, and Edgewater House. Please see our pet policy or check with the front desk to inquire further.
