Distinctive Wine & Food from Around the World
Join us on March 8 for our first World Wine dinner of 2024. We’ll be “visiting” Portugal, reveling in Chef Jacob’s take on some classic Portuguese cuisine (Leitao (suckling pig), anyone?) while enjoying Sommelier Tunney’s selections from the Douro Valley and elsewhere in this wine-rich country.
Here are the details…
What: Five very special Portuguese wines, including Luis Pato Espumante, Susanna Estaban White Blend, Carlos Ripasso Field Blend, 2013 Luis Pato Baga, and a very special Port, accompanied by such classics as Bacalhau (salt cod fritters), Caldo Verde, Leitao, and Xadrez (checkerboard cake)
When: Friday, March 8, 2024, 6 pm
Where: The Brook Room at The Pitcher Inn
Why: To further appreciate the foods and wines of the western Iberian peninsula (if you like Spanish wines you’ll love Portuguese wines)
Cost: $150 per person plus tax and gratuity

Note: Tracks tavern will be open on March 8 with a more limited menu that usual so we can put our focus on the wine dinner. Thanks for your understanding.
