The Pitcher Inn Team
General Manager Ari Sadri began working at The Pitcher Inn three days after the property opened in 1997. His love of farm-to-table dining was inspired while growing up on a self-sustaining farm in upstate New York, where fresh and seasonal vegetables, locally sourced meats, and other wild edibles naturally found their way onto the table. He brings that simple sense of place and living well to The Pitcher Inn.
Ari earned his initial certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers in 2001. He continues to read, taste and travel, maintaining The Pitcher Inn’s award winning wine cellar.
Chef Susan Schickler received her formal training at Johnson & Wales University, later honing her skills as a chef on private yachts in the Indian Ocean and Caribbean and working in various restaurants along the East Coast. Sue is inspired by a familial approach to entertaining and fine dining. She relies wherever possible on ingredients gathered from local, sustainable farms. Sue’s farm-to-table cuisine is typified by a lightness of touch and respect for her ingredients.
