The Pitcher Inn is home to a unique Vermont dining experience where fresh and seasonal ingredients come together for an inspired and sophisticated farm-to-table menu. Paired with a cocktail, a craft beer or vintage wine, a meal at The Pitcher Inn is exceptional. Wine Spectator honored The Pitcher Inn with its “Best Award of Excellence” for our wine cellar, featuring nearly 500 bottles, from small producers and some of the world’s finest wine growing regions. We welcome you to choose from two delightful dining rooms: The Main Dining Room, an elegantly casual space with an ever-changing collection of original paintings from the Edgewater Gallery in Middlebury and downstairs in our casual Tracks Tavern with a playful country décor. Tracks and the Main Dining Room are generally open Wednesday through Sunday, 5 – 8:30 p.m., closed Monday and Tuesday.
We welcome you to choose from our three dining venues:
The Dining Room (275 Main) Large windows frame the view toward the back garden and Freeman Brook. Al fresco dining on the back porch in season. During colder months, we invite you to sit by the warmth of our massive brick fireplace.
The Brook Room, our private dining room for up to 24 guests.
Tracks Tavern offers a full bar, well-crafted cocktails, and a tavern menu complete with wine pairings. Private dining in the Maple Room is also an option.
The Dining Room and Tracks Tavern are generally open Wednesday through Sunday, 5 – 8:30 p.m., closed Monday and Tuesday.
Reservations are highly recommended.
Children are permitted in both restaurants but must be accompanied by an adult.
